Becoming a Nest Professional
Before applying, please ensure you meet the requirements below. These standards help us maintain a trusted network of experienced childcare professionals and ensure every family recieves the highest level of care and support.

We look for professionals with substantial hands on childcare experience, ideally caring for babies and young children in private household. This ensures you’re confident, knowledgable, and able to provide exceptional support to families from day one.

You’ll need to provide three recent (within the last 5 years), professional references that reflect your childcare experience, reliability, and professionalism. References should come from previous employers or families you’ve worked with and will be verified as part of our recruitment process.

While not every role requires formal qualifications, recognised childcare certifications are highly valued. Qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ, MNT, OCN, Norland or equivalent training help demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and dedication to delivering exceptional childcare.m description

The safety of every family is our highest priority. All professionals joining The Nest Network must hold a valid enhanced DBS check and a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, demonstrating their commitment to providing safe and responsible care.
